We have selected dates for our major meetings and events for the Odyssey of the Mind Year, so be sure to check the calendar on the website and add them to your personal calendars. The first one coming up is in September, so make sure your school’s Odyssey of the Mind Coordinator is aware of the date.
The Odyssey of the Mind Regional Coordinators’ Meeting for NovaEast will be held at Campbell Elementary School’s Library in Arlington from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2018. This is a great time to hand in your school’s registration form and pay for your school’s membership at the reduced rate of $100. Pamela Clark will again be collecting school registrations and bundling them to send in so schools can save a bit of money. When registration is done online, the cost is $135, so if you’re chomping at the bit to get your school’s packet, go ahead and do it, but if you’re willing to wait until early October to receive it, you can bring the $100 check made out to CCI (not Novaeast OotM since this fee goes directly to the company that creates the problems) and 2018 – 2019 Membership Application to the coordinator’s meeting or make sure it’s postmarked by Saturday, October 6 to Pamela Clark, 3229 S. Utah St. Arlington, VA 22206. She will then mail in the registrations that following week. Please be sure to write in the shipping information as well as the school information so CCI knows where to ship the packet.
